WEARABLE DEVICE ECOSYSTEM FOR CHILD ABUSE DETECTION 

As captain of a team at IIT Gandhinagar, I led a group of 29 members in developing an innovative engineering solution to detect child abuse through wearable technology and machine learning. Our project involved creating a wearable device ecosystem, complemented by a mobile application that provides real-time alerts to guardians about potential child abuse incidents, while also monitoring the child's mental health. My role encompassed both logistical coordination and technical contributions to the project. Through this endeavor, I acquired valuable experience in sensor technology, machine learning, app development, and cognitive sciences, applying these to address a significant societal issue. The project garnered extensive media attention and was featured on the cover page of the Ahmedabad Mirror.
